What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that is stored in your browser when you visit a website. It makes it possible, for example, to remember your basket as you move from page to page.
Your choice
The first time you visit artivox.dk, we ask whether you'll allow cookies for statistics and marketing. Necessary cookies are always used, because the shop doesn't work without them. All other cookies are only set once you've said yes.
You can always change or withdraw your consent via the Cookie Settings link at the bottom of the page. Your choice is remembered for 12 months, after which we'll ask again.
Necessary cookies
These cookies are set by us (artivox.dk) and are only used to make the shop work.
- artivox_kurv: remembers the contents of your basket. Stored for 6 months.
- artivox_favoritter: remembers the artworks you've saved as favourites. Stored for 12 months.
- artivox_konto: keeps you logged in to your account. Stored for 30 days.
- artivox_marked: remembers your choice of country, language and currency. Stored for 12 months.
- artivox_rabat: remembers a discount code you've entered or received in a link. Stored for 14 days.
- artivox_forsoeg: keeps track of an ongoing payment attempt at checkout. Stored for 1 day.
- artivox_samtykke: remembers your cookie choice. Stored for 12 months.
We also store a few pieces of information in your browser's own memory (such as what you've entered at checkout and the recommendations you've clicked on), so they're not lost if you reload the page. These are deleted when you close your browser or when the purchase is completed.
Statistics (only with your consent)
- artivox_kilde: remembers how you found your way to us (such as a campaign or another website), so we can see what's working. We only store the website's name, not the full address. Stored for 90 days. Set by artivox.dk.
- _ga and _ga_ followed by an id: Google Analytics. Used to measure how the shop is used, such as which pages are visited. Stored for up to 2 years. Set by Google.
Marketing (only with your consent)
- _fbp and _fbc: Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Used to measure our ads and show you relevant ads. Stored for 90 days. Set by Meta.
- _gcl_au and _gcl_aw: Google Ads. Used to measure whether our ads on Google lead to purchases. Stored for 90 days. Set by Google.
- artivox_kilde (as above) also stores, with your consent to marketing, the click ID from an ad, so the purchase can be linked to the ad.
When you make a purchase, we send information about the purchase directly from our server to Meta and Google, but only if you've given consent to that category. The information is used to measure our ads. Your email and phone number are only sent in encrypted (hashed) form and never in plain text.
Third parties and transfer to countries outside the EU
Google and Meta may process the information in the USA. Both companies are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which has been approved by the EU.
Payment takes place with our payment providers (Quickpay and Mollie/Klarna). They may set their own necessary cookies on the payment page.
How to delete cookies
You can always delete cookies in your browser. If you delete them, your basket and your cookie choice will also disappear.
