Moon through Bare Trees

Between bare trees, a white moon hangs low in a deep blue night sky. The branches form dark, dense thickets with small red and orange flecks, and the same glimmers scatter down over ground and water. From the moon, light falls into the foreground as a broken white streak, and the whole surface is painted in thick, broken colour.

Oil on canvas by Justyna Kopania, who works in Warszawa. An atmospheric winter motif for the bedroom.
