Between worlds

On a pale yellow background stands an owl, its body split between warm ochre above and deep blue-black below. Behind it, bare branches grow and stretch across the image, some of them crossing over the bird itself. A large pale eye with a white ring gazes straight ahead, and small splashes of blue and orange are scattered across the background.

Lüba has painted it in acrylic on canvas, letting each piece evolve intuitively; the feathers are painted with a loaded brush and the branches drawn on top in a dark line. A poetic motif for the bedroom.
