Full Bloom

A single five-petaled flower spreads across the entire canvas on a charcoal grey background. From a deep magenta centre, the petals lighten to white at their wavy edges, gold leaf is scattered along the veins, and small red flecks are dotted over them. At the centre rises a thick black lump of paint.

Katie Gillespie of KG Studio has built up the petals layer by layer in impasto and gold leaf – a warm and festive floral image for the living room.

The frames are made in Denmark and fit the size you choose exactly. If you choose framing, we put the artwork in the frame for you, so it arrives ready to hang.
