mushroom boy

Beneath a gold mushroom cap with white spots, worn like a hood, a child with light hair looks up with big, blue eyes. Around his shoulders he wears a collar of moss, decorated with small autumn leaves.

The background is a soft-focus expanse of red and orange leaves. The Portuguese illustrator Sofia de Lemos has roots in painting, drawing and tattoo art, and works with magical realism. A fairy-tale motif for a child's room or a cosy autumn corner.
