Orchids

Out of a pale yellow vase with painted pink flowers and green leaves rise orange orchids speckled with brown and violet. Behind the flowers, grey-green leaves spread like a fan against a soft, pale pink background.

Marjorie Salvagni uses flowers as images of fragility and strength – an elegant piece for the living room.
