About the artwork
A chrome gothic cross hangs from a spiked chain against a black ground, its arms tapering into sharp points with red stones set at the centre. The words CHROME RELICS sit at the top right and SACRED STEEL runs in a spiked typeface along the bottom.
Digital illustration with polished metal rendering and sharp specular highlights. Melancholy Machinations is a Slovak digital artist whose work merges illustration, graphic design and contemporary pop culture, drawing on retro anime, neo-noir cinema and gothic iconography. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
Paper and print
Your copy is printed when you order it, on 230 g matte fine art paper — matte, so there is no glare. If you choose canvas, the artwork is printed on fine art canvas.
Framing
The frames are made in Denmark and fit the size you choose exactly. If you choose framing, we put the artwork in the frame for you, so it arrives ready to hang.
