Silent Indulgence – Velvet Edition

The top of a ruby-red velvet cupcake is shaped like a pair of glossy red lips. Creamy frosting and red glaze run down over the golden base, and the swirl on top is sprinkled with sugar crystals and sprinkles in ruby red. The cake rests on a glittering glass plate, with a deep red curtain glowing behind it and warm amber light spots blurred in the background.

Devour Art has rendered it with photographic detail, glossy highlights and shallow depth of field – a playful motif for the kitchen or a café.
