Behind inksideme is Hubert Bíró, tattoo artist and visual artist. Since 1994 he has created tattoos based on his own illustrations. He lives and works in Hungary with a studio in Szeged and regularly works as a guest artist across Europe.

For seven years he worked in Zürich and took part in many international tattoo conventions, where he won first prizes in several categories, including portrait, black and grey, and colour.

Drawing and painting have been his passion since childhood, and his paintings are occasionally shown in solo and group exhibitions. He paints primarily in oil and mixed media, combining liquid watercolour, Ecoline, acrylic, ink, coloured ink and metallic ink. The motifs vary – he paints whatever moves him or catches his interest.
