Sobre a obra
Four figures stand close together with their backs to us, looking up at the spires of the Sagrada Familia. The church is built up in red, ochre and violet strokes and ringed by a pale halo, and the sky around it breaks into short dabs of blue, grey and green that close in towards the edges of the picture.
Painted in acrylic in short dabbed strokes, the figures kept small and dark against the light. Uri paints from closeness, taking the subjects from family and everyday moments, in the belief that the personal can reveal something universal. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
