Sobre a obra
A canal runs straight into the picture between banks of red, orange and magenta trees, with the water holding their colour as broken reflections. At the end of the water a row of pale chimneys rises against a bright blue sky and lets out a long plume of white steam.
Painted in acrylic in flat, high-keyed colour, the trees blocked in and the water pulled through in long strokes. Uri paints from closeness, taking the subjects from family and everyday moments, in the belief that the personal can reveal something universal. Available as a poster or fine art canvas print in multiple sizes.
