Brick Lane Pelican

A tall pelican is painted on the grey brick gable of a corner house, its long beak stretching out over the street. The sky behind glows orange with bright clouds, and to the right the row of shops, signs and streetlamps continues down Brick Lane. In the foreground, a man in dark clothes walks up the pavement, and painted faces look out from the wall on the left.

Pelecan Schneider took the photo with an iPhone in London and later worked it up as mixed media with a sky turned up to a glowing orange. A warm cityscape for the living room or office.
